I am absolutely not a wildlife photographer. In order to be one, at least a good one, you need to spend a lot of time in the wild and have plenty of patience. You also need to carry long heavy lenses and maybe spend hours after hours in a hide to get close to whatever bird or mammal you want pictures of. That kind of photography really doesn’t appeal to me that much. However, whenever I am out shooting landscape or simply am out on a walk in a forrest or in the canoe on the lake, I try to capture whatever life I may find. Here are some of my photos from these encounters.
